Terastallization — Shining with the Radiance of Gems!
In the Paldea region, there exists a unique phenomenon known as Terastallization, which makes Pokémon shine with a crystalline luster like precious gems. After a Pokémon undergoes Terastallization, a Terastal gem resembling a crown will appear on parts such as its head, and its body surface will glisten like a cut gemstone. All Pokémon inhabiting the Paldea region are capable of Terastallization. The Terastal gem and the radiance on the Pokémon's body surface will vary according to their types. This mysterious phenomenon is said to be related to the Terastal energy seeping out from beneath the ground of the Paldea region, but there are still many mysteries yet to be unraveled.
In the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Terastallization is presented in the form of Terastal Pokémon ex cards. All Terastal Pokémon ex cards will have the "Terastal" marked below their HP, and they possess the ability that "As long as this Pokémon is in the Bench Zone, it will not take damage from attacks."
Featured on the cover of the expansion pack "Dauntless Terastal" is the Arcanine that, after Terastallization, shines with the radiance of gems all over its body.
The Terastal Arcanine ex evolves from a Growlithe and has an HP of 280. Its second move, "Scorching Flames," requires only 3 Fire Energy and can deal a high amount of 250 damage.
The "Dauntless Terastal" expansion pack also includes a brand-new SAR rarity special illustrated shiny card of Arcanine ex. In the card illustration, the Terastallized Arcanine holds its head high and growls softly. The Terastal gem on its head and the radiance on its body surface illuminate the darkness all around. Its imposing appearance fully showcases its power and beauty.

The characteristic "Explosive Energy" of Ferrothorn ex allows this Pokémon to faint itself and then attach 5 basic Grass Energy cards from the deck to one's own Pokémon in any way. Although there is a certain cost, the benefit obtained is quite substantial.
Gyarados ex has an astonishingly high HP of 300. Its second move, "Tyrant's Tail", can deal 360 damage when the conditions are met, which is more than enough to knock out most Pokémon in the current environment with a single hit.

Exploring the Legends of Disasters in the Paldea Region
In the Paldea region, there circulates an ancient legend about four treasures: the Scroll, the Jade, the Sword, and the Cauldron. These four treasures actually refer to four Legendary Pokémon, namely Sinistea (Ancient), Polteageist (Ancient), Ceruledge (Ancient), and Ursaluna (Ancient). In the expansion pack "Dauntless Terastal", these four powerful Pokémon related to disasters will also make their appearance in the form of Pokémon ex for everyone to encounter.
The move "Greedy Vines" of Sinistea (Ancient) ex can deal damage to the opponent's Pokémon in the Bench Zone, with the damage calculated as the number of Prize cards the opponent has obtained multiplied by 60. If the opponent has only 1 Prize card left, it can deal 300 damage! Use this move to deliver a crucial blow that can turn the tide of the battle.
The first move of Polteageist (Ancient) ex, "Jealous Rage", can put the top 2 cards of the opponent's deck into the discard pile, which can effectively restrict the opponent. The second move, "Flame Surge", deals 100 damage and at the same time, allows you to attach 1 basic Fire Energy card to each of up to 3 of your own Pokémon in the Bench Zone.
The characteristic "Trembling Cold" of Ceruledge (Ancient) ex allows you to add 2 basic Water Energy cards from the deck to your hand. The move "Hail Blade" enables you to discard any number of Water Energy cards attached to your Pokémon in play and deal damage equal to the number of discarded cards multiplied by 60. The move "Manipulate Earth" of Ursaluna (Ancient) ex deals 150 damage and places 2 damage counters on one of the opponent's Pokémon in the Bench Zone. Its ability "Earth - Binding Curse" can nullify the abilities of all of the opponent's Pokémon on the field that have damage counters, except for Pokémon ex. Use its ability and move in combination to disrupt the opponent's game plan!
Other Pokémon from the Paldea region
Although Wormadam (Steel Cloak Forme) has only 130 HP, when three Steel Energy cards are attached to it, its maximum HP will increase to 230. This not only surpasses that of many second-stage evolved Pokémon but is also comparable to a lot of basic Pokémon V or Pokémon ex.
Girafarig evolves from Farigiraf, and it is an evolved form that was first discovered in the Paldea region.
The move "Either Side" of Girafarig requires only 1 Any Energy. You can choose either yourself or your opponent, put all the cards in your hand back into the deck, shuffle the deck, and then draw 4 cards. When you use the Supporter card "Grusha" before attaching Energy to your Pokémon in play, you can draw cards until you have 7 cards in your hand. This is a particularly powerful Supporter card at the beginning of the game. Putting it in a deck that doesn't require many Energy cards can also yield excellent results.
"Capture your attention with an electric net!" Kofu is not only the Gym Leader of the Levincia Gym but also a well-known "Electro★Streamer" in the Paldea region.
By using the Supporter card "Kofu", both players put their hands of cards at the bottom of their respective decks, and then each draws a number of cards equal to the number of remaining Prize cards they have. When you are behind in the number of Prize cards you've claimed, using "Kofu" can replenish your hand while restricting your opponent, preparing you well for a counterattack in the following turns!
Perrine is the boss of the Segin Squad from the Dark Crew of Team Star. He has the ability to unite his team members, is good at taking care of others, and is highly trusted by his team members.
Using the Supporter card "Perrine", you can choose one Special Energy card attached to each of all your opponent's Pokémon and put them into the discard pile. This can effectively disrupt decks that make extensive use of Special Energy cards.
