Four brand-new decks are ready to go, and even beginners can join the battle right away!

The first installment of the Happy Combo includes four brand-new decks: the Pikachu Deck, the Cleffa Deck, the Turtwig Deck, and the Greedent Deck. Along with the included deck gameplay introductions, you can quickly understand the battle strategies of each deck, which helps novice trainers get started easily.

The offensive core of this deck, Pikachu ex, has a move called "Power Volt" that can deal up to 220 points of damage to the opponent's battling Pokémon. Although this move requires a fair amount of energy, in the early stage, you can place Lightning Energy in the discard pile and then combine it with Flaaffy, which has the "Electric Generator" Ability. This allows you to quickly attach energy to Pikachu ex in the Bench Area, enabling you to deal high amounts of damage to your opponent in the middle and late stages of the game.

The offensive core of this deck, Clefable ex, has a move called "Lunar Miracle". This move can not only deal considerable damage to the opponent's Pokémon, but also transfer energy to your own Pokémon in the Bench Area. Its Ability, "Lunar Field", can also eliminate the energy required for Pokémon with Psychic Energy attached to retreat. Moreover, by making good use of Cleffa's Ability "Moon Viewing Party" and the Item card "Pokémon Swap", you can quickly attach energy to Cleffa in the Bench Area.

The offensive core of this deck is Torterra. By increasing the number of evolved Pokémon on your side of the field, the move "Evolutionary Crush" can deal damage equal to the number of evolved Pokémon on your side of the field × 50. To increase the number of evolved Pokémon on the field, you can make good use of Grotle's Ability "Solar Shell" to quickly raise more Grass-type evolved Pokémon.

The offensive core of this deck is Greedent. Its move, "Gorgeous Surf", allows you to flip a coin the same number of times as the number of Steel Energy attached to this Pokémon, dealing damage equal to the number of heads × 80. To get more chances to flip the coin, make good use of Magnezone's Ability "Ultimate Magnetism" to quickly attach energy to Greedent!

If you're lucky enough, one of the four decks has a chance of being a Shiny Card deck.

To make it easier for trainers who are playing Pokémon trading cards for the first time, the package also includes 1 Player's Beginner Guide and 2 Battle Guides. They concisely and clearly introduce the gameplay rules and operation steps of Pokémon trading card battles. The package also comes with damage counters and coins. Whenever and wherever you are, you can start a Pokémon trading card battle with your friends!

Various creative ways to play make the battles more interesting!

The package contains transformation packs and prizes required for different playstyles for 2 to 4 players. With the included gameplay rule instructions, let's make the battles more enjoyable!

1. Play for 2 People

  • a) Each person randomly selects 2 decks and conducts 2 battles against the opponent. The one who wins both battles is the winner.
  • b) In the case of a 1 - 1 tie, each person selects 1 deck for the final match.

Don't be discouraged if you lose a battle. You can use the "transformation pack" to modify your deck and challenge your opponent again. The loser of the first round can choose up to 4 cards, and the loser of the second round can choose up to 6 cards from the remaining cards to transform the deck.

2. Play for 3 People

  • a) Divide into a single - player team and a two - player team.
  • b) Each team randomly selects 2 decks and conducts 2 battles against the opponent. The team that wins both battles is the winner.
  • c) When both sides win one battle and lose one, each team selects 1 deck from the decks they hold. One member of the two - player team will have a final match against the single - player team.

Don't be disappointed if you lose a battle. You can use the "transformation pack" to transform your deck and challenge your opponent again. The loser of the first round can choose up to 4 cards; the loser of the second round can choose up to 6 cards from the remaining cards. When both sides win one and lose one, each team can use all the transformation cards they have obtained to adjust their decks.

3. Play for 4 People

There are two ways to play for 4 people: a free - for - all among four players and 2 vs 2. Let's take a look at each one.

3.1 Free - for - All Among Four Players

  • a) Each person randomly selects 1 deck and conducts 1 battle against each of the other players. The one with the most wins is the winner.
  • b) When the number of wins is the same, the players with the same score will have a final match.

3.2 2v2

  • a) Divide 4 players into 2 teams of 2 players each. Each player randomly selects 1 deck and conducts 1 battle against each player in the opponent team. The team that wins 3 or 4 battles is the winner.
  • b) When both teams have 2 wins and 2 losses, each team sends 1 representative to have a battle. The team of the winner is the winning team.

Don't be disheartened if you lose a battle. You can use the "transformation pack" to transform your deck and challenge your opponent again. The two losers of the first round flip a coin. They pick up transformation cards in the order of 1 card for the one who guesses correctly → 3 cards for the one who guesses wrong → 2 cards for the one who guesses correctly. The two losers of the second round flip a coin. They pick up transformation cards in the order of 1 card for the one who guesses correctly → 2 cards for the one who guesses wrong → 1 card for the one who guesses correctly. In the 2 vs 2 playstyle, when both teams have 2 wins and 2 losses, each team can use all the transformation cards they have obtained to adjust their decks.

The transformation pack contains four types of cards: Pokémon cards, Supporter cards, Item cards, and Pokémon Tools.
